The festive season is upon us and our local streets and squares are soon to be transformed into glittering winter wonderlands as Christmas Markets pop up and men in red appear in Grottos on a corner near you. Delicious street food, live music, entertainment, loads of fairy lights, what’s not to like? Copeland Park

Bussey Winter Open Studios - Etsy Made Local Christmas Market- Peckham Salvage Yard

Friday, 30th November – Sunday, 2nd December

The Bussey Building will be bursting with festive spirit as it throws open its doors to the public. Throughout the weekend, visitors can see artists at work and will have the opportunity to purchase their artwork, whilst also visiting 80 local Etsy makers who will be selling their vintage and homemade art/crafts. Head to Unit 8 for more original gifts at the  Peckham Christmas salvage Yard, south London's go-to destination for vintage gems, with over 50 traders bringing 20th Century furniture, salvaged French homeware, vintage clothes, curiosities & collectables, kitschenalia, reclaimed industrial fixtures, electricals, lighting and unexpected oddities.. that’s Uncle Bob’s pressie sorted then!


East Dulwich Christmas Cracker

Saturday, 1st December, 11am-5pm


Head up the road to East Dulwich to catch an exciting array of entertainment from choirs, bands and performance groups, exclusive offers from local traders, a seasonal street market on North Cross Road, a children’s Treasure Hunt, delicious festive food from Brazilian Churros to Vietnamese noodles and an Art Trail which will see many local artists exhibiting throughout spaces in Lordship Lane and beyond.

Pexmas is Peckham's original Festive Market. Taking place over 2 days in the beautiful Warwick Gardens, hosting 90 traders  and presenting amazing local street food and their infamous Mulled Wine, it's the place to be for all your seasonal shopping in South East London. This year they’ve added a Santa's Grotto and Makers' Workshops to the programme.


Horniman Christmas Market

Saturday 1st & Sunday 2nd December 10.30am-4.30pm


Pick up your seasonal produce at the Farmers’ Market, take part in festive themed craft workshops, shop for gifts in the arts and crafts market and enjoy a carol concert with mince pies and mulled wine.



Made in Camberwell Arts Market

Saturday, 1st December, 12 -5pm


Head to Camberwell for the festive Made in Camberwell arts market. Over 40 traders will be participating across three locations: The Tiger pub, Butterfly Walk Arcade and The Joiners Arms - they are all under cover! You will find unique stocking fillers, gifts, beautiful cards and prints, as well as designs to brighten up your home, and stunning jewellery.


Southbank Winter Festival

November 9th – January 6th, 2019


Fondue, igloos, fire pits and wooden chalets– the annual Southbank Winter Festival returns Thameside this Christmas. Foodies will love it as winter favourites raclette and bratwurst will be served up alongside Indian, Greek and Asian cuisine. Just head for Hungerford Bridge.
